77 Slacks Rd. Palmerston North. NZ. Positive: Heaps of space. 4 double beds were great. Owner and staff reacted quickly and efficiently to our many concerns Negative: We paid $508 for 3 adults, 3 children. The owner who lives in Rotorua was amazingly patient, professional, and prompt in answering our many calls, and solved problems as we went. Thank you so much.💯 I write this review in the hope that the recommendations can be implemented to help improve future clients experience. * The carport had not been cleared of leaves and debris. Not a great welcome for guests. 😔 *House needed to be aired on arrival, as it smelled musty, however it was clean 👌 * No instructions as to how to turn stove on. Instruction sheet would be helpful please. Hubby eventually discovered switch behind stove once he pulled it out. * Minimal kitchen cooking utensils made meal prep difficult. Please upgrade to include sharp knives, etc. Thank you for sufficient table cutlery and settings. We did notice that there were newly purchased bowls in cupboards. Please also supply sufficient t-towels for the number of guests. The nice new ones were a traet *Nice warm heater in the large lounge, with adequate seating for 6. Inclusion of coffee/occasional tables in lounge would be helpful. We left a Television set that could be connected, and provide at least a reason to sit in lounge. You are very welcome. * A definitely frustrating problem with Internet connection. Thank you to the caretaker who eventually provided us with his private one. 😊 * Beds were lovely. Clean, inviting, and comfortable. Really appreciated being given an extra duvet. It was a cold day, and we were visiting from a hot country. Maybe include extra blankets in wardrobes to cater to those colder Palmerston North nights. * Bathroom, with bath and shower was appreciated and allowed us to bath grandchildren easily. Thank you. Please ensure that their are enough towels for the number of guests booked, including hand towels and bath mats. 4 towels for the 7 people was surprising. Thank you once again to the caretaker who brought us the required towels.
