3 Bedroom House A, 23 Mallard Drive, Rotorua

Positive: Location Negative: I am shocked that the shack like this is allowed on booking.com. The house smelled horribly. The furniture is from 1960s. The Salvation Army TV stand had tonnes of dust and one of us developed bad alergic reaction. THe carpet is probably 40 years old and we did not dare to walk barefoot afraid to catch some disease. According to the number of beds 10 people can be accommodated with 1 bathroom with not a single hook or towel rail. Not a little vanity in the toilet so we had to go the bathroom to wash the hands and was quite often engaged. Entry through the back door hard to open. Not a doormat so we had to enter with wet and dirty shoes. The loundry falling apart, disgusting, the only positive that ancient wasing machine was working. Kitchen eqipment poor, only 4 glasses and 4 cups there so we had to buy 1 extra. Price for this is overwhelming. Today we arrived in Taupo and the house we have took our breath away, total luxury for much, much cheaper price. This we call high standard expected by booking.com. I suggest you request the owner of this horrible place to fix all the above. We are extremely dissapointed customers.

Wonderful home very comfy and accommodating Positive: It was great. Home away from home. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again Negative: It did smell a lil like cat but wasn’t too strong and was fine after opening the windows for some time but nothing too drastic
